🐛SPRINGFORMATION 🦋

There’s something about this time of year that we feel before we even understand it.

The light changes.

The air softens.

The mornings arrive earlier.

The evenings stretch longer.

And suddenly something inside us whispers, “It’s time again.”

Not just time for sunshine.

Not just time for flowers.

Time for renewal.

Time for life to start moving again.

After the stillness of winter, after the grey skies, the heavy coats, the long nights, something begins to stir. And it’s not just happening outside in the trees and fields.

It’s happening inside us too.

🌱 The Science of Spring and Why We Feel Different

This isn’t just a romantic idea.

Science actually shows that our brains and bodies respond profoundly to the changing seasons.

As the days get longer, our exposure to sunlight increases. This affects several key hormones in the brain:

• Serotonin rises, which boosts mood and emotional wellbeing

• Melatonin decreases, helping us feel more awake and energized

• Dopamine activity increases, making motivation and hope return

Researchers have even found that sunlight exposure influences the hypothalamus, the part of the brain that regulates mood, energy, appetite, and sleep.

In simple terms:

When the light comes back…

so does our capacity for hope.

Have you noticed how people start walking more?

Talking more?

Planning things again?

The human nervous system begins to shift out of winter survival mode.

And that matters.

Because winter, for many of us, is not just cold. It’s a little heavier emotionally too.

Less sunlight can contribute to lower mood, fatigue, even something known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Even for those who don’t experience that clinically, many of us unconsciously slow down, withdraw, and conserve energy during darker months.

So when spring arrives, something ancient inside us says:

“It’s safe to expand again.”

🌷 Your Spring Mirror

Look at what nature does.

Trees that looked completely dead in January suddenly begin pushing tiny green buds through their branches.

Fields that were muddy and lifeless start filling with wildflowers.

Seeds buried deep in dark soil begin breaking open and growing upward toward the light.

Think about that for a moment.

A seed must break apart before it grows.

What looked like destruction is actually the beginning of life.

How many of us have experienced seasons like that?

Moments where something in our lives seemed to fall apart:

A relationship ending.

A confidence crisis.

Health challenges.

Burnout.

Feeling lost or unsure about the path ahead.

It can feel like failure.

But often…

It’s just winter.

And winter is not the end of the story.

🌼Resurrect Dead New Year Resolutions

Let’s talk honestly for a moment.

Back in January, many of us made promises to ourselves.

New goals.

New habits.

New plans.

“This is the year.”

But life happens.

Energy dips.

Motivation fades.

Old patterns creep back in.

And suddenly we feel like we’ve already failed the year.

But here’s something we don't consider much:

January is often not the most natural time for massive life change.

From a biological perspective, we’re still in winter mode.

Our bodies are conserving energy.

Our nervous systems are slower.

The days are still short.

We try to force transformation during a time when the body naturally wants rest and reflection.

Spring, however, is different.

Spring is aligned with growth.

Nature isn’t trying to bloom in January.

Nature blooms now.

So if things didn’t go exactly how you hoped earlier this year…

Good news.

You didn’t miss your chance.

Spring is your second beginning.

🌿 Spring Cleaning: For the Soul

Every year people start decluttering closets, garages, and cupboards.

But what about the emotional clutter we carry?

The old resentments.

The outdated beliefs.

The patterns we learned years ago that no longer serve who we are becoming.

Many of us are walking through life carrying emotional boxes we packed decades ago.

Boxes labelled:

“I’m not good enough.”

“I always mess things up.”

“I have to keep everyone happy.”

“I can’t trust people.”

“I have to work twice as hard to deserve love.”

Those beliefs were often formed in childhood, during stressful moments when our nervous system was simply trying to protect us.

They helped us survive.

But survival strategies don’t always help us thrive later in life.

And here’s the thing about the subconscious mind.

It doesn’t update itself automatically.

If those emotional programs were installed years ago, they continue running quietly in the background until we consciously change them.

That’s why so many people find themselves repeating the same patterns:

The same relationship dynamics.

The same self-doubt.

The same fears about money, visibility, success, or worthiness.

It’s not because they lack intelligence or motivation.

It’s because the subconscious mind is driving the behaviour.

And that’s where powerful tools like Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) come in.

RTT works directly with the subconscious mind to uncover the root of those patterns and release them at the source.

It’s not about endlessly analysing problems.

It’s about clearing emotional space.

Because when we release the old internal clutter, something beautiful happens.

We create room.

Room for confidence.

Room for peace.

Room for healthy relationships.

Room for new possibilities.

Exactly like clearing a garden bed before planting something new.

🌞 A Happy Story For Seeds

There’s a simple story gardeners often share.

If you plant seeds in soil that’s full of weeds, the weeds will take most of the nutrients.

Your seeds might try to grow, but they’ll struggle.

So gardeners don’t just throw seeds into the ground and hope for the best.

First they clear the soil.

They remove the weeds.

They prepare the earth.

Only then do they plant.

Many of us are trying to plant dreams into soil that is still full of old emotional weeds.

Self-doubt.

Fear of judgement.

Fear of failure.

Fear of success.

Spring is the perfect time to ask:

What needs clearing in my inner garden?

What beliefs are choking the life out of the dreams I’m trying to grow?

And what would happen if I finally made space for something new?

🌺 The Courage to Begin Again

One of the most beautiful things about nature is that it never apologizes for starting again.

Every year the trees drop their leaves.

Every year the ground freezes.

Every year the cycle begins again.

Nature doesn’t say:

“Well, I bloomed last year so I guess that’s done.”

It simply follows the rhythm of life.

And we are part of that same rhythm.

So if you’ve stumbled this year…

If you’ve felt stuck…

If you’ve lost momentum somewhere along the way…

Take a breath.

Look around you.

The flowers blooming outside are a reminder that life is always willing to start again.

So maybe this spring isn’t just about cleaning your house.

Maybe it’s about clearing your mind.

Releasing the weight you’ve been carrying.

Letting go of the stories that kept you small.

And making room for the kind of life that actually lights you up.

Beautiful relationships.

Meaningful work.

Peace inside your own body.

Confidence in who you are.

Spring reminds us that growth is always possible.

Even after the longest winters.

🌴 An Invitation To Spring

If you feel like something inside you is ready for a reset, listen to that.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is give ourselves permission to begin again.

If emotional patterns, stress, or old beliefs are still taking up space in your life, this might be the perfect season to clear them.

✨ Or

Because when we clear the emotional clutter…

We don’t just survive.

We thrive.

And just like the trees outside your window, you might be surprised by how beautiful your next season can become.

🌸 Here’s to longer days.

🌸 Fresh starts.

🌸 New growth.

🌸 And the courage to bloom again.

With love,

Dr. Thashna 💜👑🌴
